Tourism in Cahul region offers a unique and charming experience, attracting visitors with its rich cultural heritage, picturesque landscapes and vibrant traditions.
The VIA Cahul tourist cluster (Values, Innovation, Authenticity) was created on April 27, 2022 in the Cahul region in the southern part of the Republic of Moldova as a result of the signing of the founding memorandum by 49 entities:
The purpose of the Cluster is to strengthen the regional partnership for the development of the tourism sector, to ensure the increase in the competitiveness of tourism businesses and the large-scale capitalization of the regional tourism product.
The planning document of the cluster is the Development Plan for the period 2022-2026.
In July 2024, the VIA Cahul Tourist Cluster has 50 members.
The management entity of the VIA Cahul tourist cluster is the Public Association "Pro Partnership for Sustainable Development", which was registered in April 2022.
We aim to become the catalyst of changes in the Cahul region by 2030, transforming the area into a well-known, attractive, dynamic and visited tourist destination.
To be the main actor in mobilizing companies for the creation, capitalization and promotion of the tourism product on a large scale, ensuring the increase in the competitiveness of tourism businesses in the region.
